Learning Enrichment Activities Programme (LEAP)
LEAP runs during lesson 6 each Tuesday (2.45 - 3.30 pm). Pupils choose their activity from a list of termly options. LEAP activities cover a wide range from golf to gardening and skateboarding to sewing. LEAP is supported by Sports College funding. If any parents/carers are able to help with our LEAP programme they would be very welcome. Please contact Lis Greenwell at school.
House Blocks
The school has four Houses, each named after a Great British Olympian: Redgrave, Thompson, Edwards and Lewis. Pupils are allocated to a House at the start of Year 7 and as they progress through the school will be able to represent their House in a number of sporting, cultural and fun events. Pupils can also gain goals (points) for their House for good behaviour and being helpful in any part of school life.
Cross-Curriculum Week
Towards the end of the summer term, pupils participate in Cross-Curriculum Week which allows them to experience further learning opportunities on the school site and farther afield.
