Organisation of Learning/Special Educational Needs

We are committed to offering an inclusive curriculum for all pupils. The school is also additionally resourced to meet the needs of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We aim to allow all students access to mainstream provision through appropriate learning support so that they can make the best possible progress. Our school building is mainly single storey but has several levels to the ground floor, with small numbers of steps. The school meets the requirements of the DfES Code of Practice for Special Educational Needs. We would like to thank the HBC Youth Service for the use of the Rossmere Youth Centre which houses our off-site educational provision and many of our community projects.
