'Out of Hours' Activities at Brierton

At Brierton we have an extensive 'out of hours' learning programme which includes all activities taught within the curriculum in addition to activities requested by the pupils, like 'boxacise' and table tennis.
The school works very closely with many partner agencies, especially Hartlepool Borough Council, the Sports Development team and the various national Governing Bodies of the sports. The school is developing particularly strong links with rugby and has recently been awarded Academy Status for Badminton.
